Dallara Automobili: A Legacy of Innovation

Dallara is a story of passion, talent, tenacity, and enthusiasm. In January 1972, Giampaolo Dallara founded "Dallara Automobili da Competizione" in Varano de 'Melegari. For over 52 years, Dallara has developed its expertise in designing and building some of the world's most competitive race cars, including various Dallara race cars known for their performance and innovation. When Dallara Group became the exclusive supplier for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES in 2012, it opened Dallara USA: an engineering center in Speedway, Indiana. Since its inception, Dallara USA has also become the sole chassis supplier for the INDY NXT by Firestone Series. In 2016, Dallara began a joint venture with Cadillac to design and manufacture an LMP2 car, which evolved into the Cadillac DPi competing in the IMSA Weathertech Sports Championship. In 2023, the DPi class transitioned to the GTP class, where Dallara is one of the five manufacturers racing on track, alongside Cadillac and BMW. Furthermore, Dallara USA has diversified its operations into other business units, such as aerospace and defense, providing innovative solutions by leveraging the corporate know-how derived from its extensive experience with Dallara chassis in motorsport.
